Karl has provided hands on treatment to various parts of my anatomy over the last few years. He has helped with various problems from little niggles to major surgery. As a professional athlete it is important for me to be in the best hands possible.
I would highly recommend Karl and his team - he knew immediately what my problems were and how to fix them. His attention to detail is second to none - and that what makes the difference in elite sport and my everyday life
Karl was recommended to me by a friend. I always want to be in tip top shape for the physical demands of being a professional footballer. His hands on approach to various body parts during the season has supplemented my normal rehabilitation plan and I feel it has optimised my performances.
He has since treated various members of my family and I would recommend Karl's services to family and friends if they are looking for an experienced physiotherapist who listens and makes a difference.
Karl is an excellent physio and has been helping me to deal with my hamstring problem. It was so easy and quick to get an appointment and he was able to come up with a solution pretty much straight away. As I play hockey at a high level, Karl was able to support me to reach optimum fitness prior to my big games/the season starting and ensure my dodgy hamstring was no longer a liability.
I can’t tell you how grateful I am for prolonging my hockey career and taking away my aches and pains. He offers a very unique service where there is genuine care and interest for the individual. He has that great personal and professional touch which is why many of us keep coming back to him. It is like he is on the journey to recovery with us and always available providing advice when needed. I am constantly recommending him to other members of my hockey team, it is just a shame that they live in Birmingham!
Wetherby Sports Physiotherapy is proud to sponsor Scott Wright and his ultra endurance challenges for charity. Over the coming years Scott has planned a series of distance runs to raise money for Charity. This will be starting in early 2016 with the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in April and then Hadrian's Wall End to End later in the year.
“I am by no means a natural runner but it is something I love so this will be a big personal challenge for me. I am also in the process of planning a National Three Peaks Challenge which will push me to my absolute limits. I am grateful for Rachel and Karl for their constant input in keeping me tip top and providing me with a frequent MOT; and the occasional pep talk...!”
“This will all be in aid of a Yorkshire based community project providing accommodation and jobs for adults with learning disabilities. The carers for the residents are in fact volunteers who live in the houses with the residents and provide them with such an amazing opportunity and quality of life. The least I can do is run.”
